This happy young fella has been waiting in the wings as Gar-Sun's career has taken precedence. Nontheless, he is every bit as athletic and as willing
a horse as Gar-Sun. His training to date shows however that his talents lie in the western arenas. He is very trainable, likes to work and shows a great
deal of promise.
Sooner's show career has been limited. As a yearling, he placed 7th in a class of 15 yearling colts at the Parkland Arabian Horse Associations Canadian
Yearling Colt Futurity; 4th out of 13 at the Strathcona Arabian Horse Association's Annual Yearling Colt Futurity; and he received the "Classic" Alberta
Bred certification under the Alberta Horse Improvement Program.
As a 4 year old, he was Reserve Champion Stallion at the Western Canadian Breeders Show.
At the Saskatchewan Extravaganza, he won the stallion class and Amateur To Handle Stallion Class and went on to be Show Champion Stallion. His placing
indicate a good Arabian representative and as the aim of the breeding program is to raise performance horses, feel that he is a very worthy individual
with enormous potential both under saddle and as a sire of fine typey individuals.
Sooner has a lovely disposition, very friendly, with a playful nature. Best of all he is a joy to watch, whether he is playing and being a show off with
tail over his back and nose in the air, or down to work exhibiting how well he has taken to the training he has received.

Although Sooner gained his disposition as well as his proud, regal bearing from his dam (certainly a fitting tribute as her last baby), he shows an uncanny
resemblance to his grandsire NARIADNI. I had the pleasure of a personal introduction to this amazing horse and was most pleased to see Sooner grow up to look
so much like him.
To date Sooner's offspring out of partbred and quarter horse mares are exceptional, athletic individuals showing strong Arabian characteristics. These foals
have also taken the colour of the dams, so if you are looking to produce colour, along with his other attributes - HE IS YOUR BOY.
